Contributions to Open Source.

I'm just starting to play with Open Source projects, and this is my very first contribution to any Open Source effort. Actually, this is more of a modification of an add-on to integrate that add-on with someone else's work.

osCommerce 2.2MS, the PHP and mySQL-based e-commerce package has been integrated into PHP-Nuke by Gilles Forli of PHPNukeServices in a product called osc4nuke 2.5. I'm using that at an e-commerce site but needed the well-known Product Attributes v1.6 osCommerce contribution integrated. I've done so and now make that available to others.

I really need to reorganize this page (and the whole site... too much garbage laying about). Here are links to what you'll find below:

osc4nuke Product Attributes v1.6
osc4nuke osCAffiliate v2.02

osc4nuke Product Attributes v1.6 (ported from osCommerce contribution Product Attributes v1.6)

This is my very first contribution to the open source community. Go easy on me. Support will be provided if I can when I'm available. No promises. The mods were small and should be easy to follow.

Download the files needed for integration of the the Product Attributes v1.6 for osCommerce with osc4nukeMS 2.5 here.

Note: I had not noticed the announcement at www.phpnukeservices that Gilles Forli was already working on integrating this osCommerce contribution with osc4nuke 2.5 and oscnuke 3.0. An unfortunate instance of parallel development efforts. Still, I enjoyed the work. I'll keep my contribution here to enjoy.
12/18/2003 - Updated to correct a small bug in catalog/product_info.php. Lines intended as comments were being included in the html stream causing duplication of dropdown-based product attributes and including extraneous characters.
12/19/2003 - Updated to correct a small bug in catalog/product_info.php. I didn't quite kill the whole bug in the previous update. I had a ?> character sequence that was being interpreted as PHP comment rather than PHP code block termination.

osc4nuke osCAffiliate v2.02 (ported from osCommerce contribution osCAffiliate v2.02)

For use at your own risk, here is the ported contribution for osCAffiliate v2.02. I'm not making any guarantees. You may email me or contact me on the forums at www.phpnukeservices.com if you have any questions. I'll try to help, but won't promise speed. I have a lot of other things going on besides providing free support. I strongly suggest that you be familiar with the code you are about to change before you set about doing it.

NOTE: This may or may not work for oscnukeMS 3.0; I haven't tried it.
