Year 2000 (Y2K) analysis queries for Synon models
Though Synon may generate the code, there are still programmers in the loop. That means that even Synon applications are vulnerable to Y2K problems. Here, I've included the queries I originally posted on Synposium. They were created to run over a model at Release 5.1. They should still be relevant to later releases. I haven't tested them there. I hope they provide you some assistance in evaluating your Y2K vulnerability. I've put them in a ZIP file because I haven't had time to format them decently for presentation on a web page. The ZIP file contains an RTF document that describes the queries. I've printed out the Query/400 definition. You'll have to convert them to whatever query tool you have at your disposal.
