Though Synon may generate the code, there are still programmers in the loop. That means
that even Synon applications are vulnerable to Y2K problems. Here, I've included the
queries I originally posted on Synposium. They were created to run over a model at Release
5.1. They should still be relevant to later releases. I haven't tested them there. I hope
they provide you some assistance in evaluating your Y2K vulnerability. I've put them in a
ZIP file because I haven't had time to format them decently for presentation on a web
page. The ZIP file contains an RTF document that describes the queries. I've printed out
the Query/400 definition. You'll have to convert them to whatever query tool you have at
your disposal.
